When it comes to sun protection, one size doesn’t fit all—especially when it comes to tinted sunscreen. That’s why Ocean Freedom’s Surf Clay SPF50+ range is designed to meet the unique needs of different skin tones. Using the Fitzpatrick Scale as a guide, we’ve created three shades that provide optimal coverage and protection while seamlessly blending with your skin.

• Type I-II (Very Light to Light Skin Tones): These skin types are highly sensitive to the sun and often burn easily. For these individuals, we recommend Soft Sand, the lightest shade, designed to blend naturally with fair skin.
• Type III-IV (Medium to Olive Skin Tones): These skin types have a more balanced response to the sun but still require strong protection. Light Tan, a medium shade, provides excellent coverage for light to medium skin tones.
• Type V-VI (Brown to Deep Skin Tones): These skin types are less likely to burn but are still vulnerable to sun damage. Our Dark Tan shade is specifically formulated to complement brown to deep skin tones.
